Eight more Quilts of Valor given to veterans

The Quilts of Valor program has presented quilts to eight more area veterans.

Families, staff and residents attended a Quilts of Valor program Wednesday at Wellington Place.  Over 75 area veterans have now received quilts in honor of their military service. 

The Quilts of Valor Foundation was founded in 2003 to provide quilts to service members and veterans touched by war.  Since its founding, the Quilts of Valor Foundation nationwide has coordinated the donation of over 114,000 quilts.
