A Decorah man, Don Johnson, has donated money to Winneshiek Medical Center's Cardiac Rehabilitation program for the purchase of an arm ergometer. The equipment provides a cardiovascular workout by just using the upper body.
Winneshiek Medical Center's Cardiac Rehabilitation program is a specialized exercise and education program for people who have experienced a heart attack, by-pass surgery, stent placement, valve replacement or live with chronic stable angina. It is also designed to help strengthen those who live with heart failure.
