The latest medical expert to testify at the Alex Fazzino murder trial was University of Kentucky forensic pathologist Gregory Davis.
In testimony Friday morning at the Winneshiek County Courthouse, Dr. Davis agreed with Associate State Medical Examiner Dr. Michele Catellier's conclusion that the means and cause of Emily Fazzino's death on January 29th of 2012 was "undetermined."
Dr. Cattellier also testified that she thought the evidence in Emily's death was "consistent with" a homicide. Dr. Davis on Friday explained that medically speaking "consistent with" means "does not rule out." But Dr. Davis said there were other explanations that were "consistent with" the evidence.
He also spent time describing how Emily Fazzino could have had a seizure while in the bathtub at her home in Boone.
