


Skyler Luzum has been named 2016's Winneshiek County Beef Queen. Skyler is the 16-year-old daughter of Dale and Kelly Luzum of Fort Atkinson. She attends South Winneshiek High School, where she is active in student government and FFA.
The 2016 Beef Princess is Kandise Hauber, the 16-year-old daughter of Kevin and Jamie Hauber of Ridgeway. Hauber is a junior at Crestwood High School and is currently president of the Crestwood FFA.
Braunwyn Darrington and Anna Holthaus were named Little Miss Cowgirls at the Winneshiek County Cattlemen's banquet.
Kelsey Hageman, Hannah Sikkink, Kenzie Hovden and Ashley Schwartzhoff were high school scholarship winners, while Isaac Luzum and Daiton Tietz were college scholarship winners.
Josh Kuennen was named Young Cattleman award winner, Ron Bigler received the Pioneer Award, Kim Knutson was named "Friend of Cattlemen" and Don Jose Restaurant in Decorah received the Steak Knife Award.
