


The Decorah Police Department has released a correction to a previous news release about the K-9 search at Decorah High School last Friday.
Police released the name of Jordyn White as a juvenile referred to Juvenile Court Services. The Police Department incorrectly indicated that White was referred for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. White was only referred for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

17-year-old Jordyn Leigh White of Decorah and 15-year-old Stella Rose Ransom of Decorah have been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (a simple misdemeanor). Rose has also been charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (a simple misdemeanor). The charges were field after the two were referred to Juvenile Court Services.
