


A Riceville man was arrested Monday morning by Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies. 26-year-old Brian Jacobson was taken into custody by Howard County Sheriff's Deputies on a Winneshiek County warrant for a probation violation. Winneshiek County Deputies picked up Jacobson from the Howard County Jail on Monday morning and brought him back to the Winneshiek County Jail.
Meanwhile, Decorah Police arrested a Decorah man on numerous charges early Saturday morning. During an investigation at Washington Street and Broadway, police determined 40-year-old Harold Jacobson, Jr. of Decorah had been operating a vehicle while impaired. They arrested him and jailed him on charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Impaired Second Offense, Driving While Revoked, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Finally, Sheriff's Deputies also made an arrest on Saturday on a charge of Operating While Under the Influence. 41-year-old Tracy Morris of Lawler was stopped on Highway 24, then arrested and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail.
