Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies were called to Highway 52 and County Highway A-18 around 3:00 p.m. Sunday to respond to a two-vehicle traffic accident.
The Sheriff's Department says 19-year-old Levi Hershberger of Cresco was northbound on Highway 52 when he turned left in front of a truck being driven by 37-year-old Earl Arneson of Decorah. The two trucks collided, causing $11,500 in damages.
Both vehicles had passengers who were taken by ambulance to Winneshiek Medical Center. Hershberger was ticketed for failure to yield upon making a left turn.
