State Senate candidate Heikes announces "main street visit" schedule

Iowa State Senate candidate Jan Heikes has announced a schedule of main street visits during February, starting on Saturday in Waukon.

Said Heikes, "The goal of this is to engage with business owners and staff to learn the important issues they deal with and how I can be useful for them in the Iowa Senate."  Said Heikes, "This is a chance to reinforce the focus of our campaign: listening. The most effective way to legislate is to first understand the issues that are important in the district."

Saturday, February 6th – Waukon, 10:00am, Coffee at Grandma Ruth's: 9:30-10:00am

Friday, February 12th – Decorah 5:00pm, Coffee at Java Johns: 7:00-7:30pm

Saturday, February 13th – Elkader, 10:00am, Coffee at Treats on Bridge St: 9:30-10:00am
