36-year-old Decorah resident Andrew Hansen has been ordered by a federal judge to pay $35,650 to the Farm Service Agency.
U.S. District Court Judge Linda Reade sentenced Hansen to five years probation on a charge of selling property that had been pledged as collateral in a farm loan.
Hansen last fall entered a guilty plea to the charge after admitting that he had sold farm equipment and several goats that had been used as collateral on the loan.
