


Snowfall accumulations for Monday's storm are just beginning to come in as of 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, but snow depths appear to be on the light side of the predicted 6 to 10 inches of snowfall.
The first significant winter storm of the season pushed into Northeast Iowa and southwest Wisconsin Monday morning, reaching the I-90 corridor as mostly snow around noon. The snow then continued to advance northward for the rest of the afternoon.
The National Weather Service Office in La Crosse says snowfall totaled 5 inches in Oelwein and 6 inches in Guttenberg. No snowfall totals were available as of 6:00 a.m. for Decorah.
