The Decorah Public Library has announced it will sponsor parent education workshops in January.
The library will partner with Decorah resident Anna Runestad, a Licensed Parent Educator, to offer the free workshops from 11:00 a.m. until 11:50 a.m. Monday mornings starting January 25th.
Parents of children birth to 5 years of age are invited to bring their children for unstructured play while they network with others in similar stages of parenting. Parents will have access to research-based parenting information on a variety of topics.
Registration for the workshops is now open and will continue until 15 parents register or January 15th, whichever comes first. All other registrants will be added to a waiting list. Register for the workshops by calling the Decorah Public Library at 382-3717 . If there are fewer than 8 participants, workshops will be cancelled.
