North Winneshiek audit shows the school district is in good financial shape

The North Winneshiek School Board has approved the audit of the school district's 2014-2015 financial figures.

For the fiscal year the district's ending general fund balance was $392,478.  The district's solvency ratio was 10.44 percent, which is categorized as a "good" amount by the Iowa Association of School Boards. 

The general fund spending authority balance currently is $140,378.  The district's spending authority ratio was 4 percent which is considered in the "acceptable" category by the Iowa Association of School Boards.
