


The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department is releasing details of a three-vehicle accident on Highway 9 at 133rd Avenue Wednesday afternoon around 4:30.
Police say 26-year-old Autumn Beisker of Waukon and 26-year-old Frank Breitbach of Dubuque had stopped their vehicles to wait for a truck to turn north onto 133rd Avenue when 18-year-old Keaton Meyer of Decorah approached from the rear and could not stop, rear-ending both vehicles.
Damage was estimated at a total of $10,500. Meyer was ticketed for a registration violation and for Failure to Stop in an Assured Clear Distance.
