


Luther College Assistant Professor of Political Science and of Environmental Studies Rachel Brummel has done research on U.S. pollinator conservation policy.
She also teaches a course in "Environment & Community." That's what led her class to look into the prairie areas in Decorah.
On Thursday night the Decorah Park-Rec Board will meet to consider a request from the Luther College Environment and Community classto add more pollinators in prairieplantings in Decorah.
Park-Rec Board members will also get updates Thursday night about the swimming pool water slide project and on the Park-Rec endowment fund.
