The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department says a West Union man, 19-year-old Hunter Berg, was traveling south on Highway 150 last Wednesday around 1:30 p.m. when he dropped off onto the right shoulder, over-corrected and skidded across the roadway and into a ditch, rolling on its top.
The accident caused $7,000 in damages. Berg was not injured, but he was ticketed for failure to maintain control of his vehicle.
