


Thirteen Decorah HS students have been selected to participate in the 2015 All-State Music Festival.
Students selected as members or alternates were Carina Yee, violin; Katelyn Yee, cello alternate; Trevor Phillips, string bass; Autumn DeLong, soprano; Annika Krieg, soprano; Ali Voigt, soprano; Maggie Breitenstein, alto; Naomi Davidson, alto; Laurel Fadness, alto; Helen Johnson, alto; Abby Trewin, alto; Miles Wilkie, tenor; and Everett Wegge, bass.
The following students were selected for a recall audition: Indigo Fish, soprano; Garret Baumler, tenor; Dalton Brown, alto saxophone.
45 Decorah High School musicians participated in the Iowa All-State Music auditions Saturday at West Delaware High School in Manchester. The students prepared difficult musical selections and then competed for spots in the All-State ensembles with students from East-Central and Northeast Iowa, including the Dubuque and Cedar Rapids schools.
