Decorah woman back in jail after four warrants are served

36-year-old Cheryl Albrecht-Zweibohmer of Decorah is in custody in the Winneshiek County Jail after Sheriff's Deputies served four warrants for her arrest late Wednesday afternoon.

Zweibohmer was convicted of two counts of identity theft and two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, but eventually sentenced to probation.  Deputies claimed Albrecht-Zweibohmer used a Decorah resident's personal information to apply for two credit cards--then used those credit cars after they arrived to buy merchandise and make a cash withdrawal.  All four charges were aggravated misdemeanors.

In a separate case, last year WOWT Television in Omaha reported that Marie Tillman of Omaha ordered a $50 crocheted blanket from a website operated by Cheryl Albrecht-Zweibohmer.  The blanket didn't arrive--but Tillman's credit card got charged $550 by Zweibohmer's company, "Snuggle Buggle Crochet Creations."
