What's next for the Rebound Hospitality project?

Rebound Hospitality had originally said it would apply for a Marriott Fairfield Inn & Suites license in mid-September.  But Monday night Rebound spokesperson Brett Reese put the timetable for the application to Marriott as coming on Monday, October 26th.

Marriott promises to answer the application within 45 days--meaning Rebound Hospitality would learn in mid-December whether it had gotten the Fairfield Inn & Suites franchise.  If the franchise is granted, Rebound would close on the purchase of the property in Decorah by the end of the year.

Next would come construction.  Reese says work would begin in April of next year, with a target opening date some time in April of 2017.
