Police looking for motorist who struck a bicyclist

Decorah Police are asking for the public's help in getting more information about a car/bicycle accident.

Police say between 8:30 a.m. to 8:50 a.m. Wednesday near Washington Street and Broadway Street a 15-year-old bicyclist was on his bike, crossing the street, when he was hit by a vehicle.  The driver of the vehicle did NOT stop at the scene of the accident.

The vehicle is believed to have been a dark-colored SUV.  If anyone saw the vehicle or the accident, please contact the Decorah Police Department at (563) 382-3667.
