Dave e-mails: "I drive from Decorah to my business in the Council Bluffs/Omaha area a couple times a month. After a recent trip I noticed virtually every city I passed through had cheaper fuel than Decorah. I noticed Preston, MN was 14 cents cheaper than Decorah. New Hampton is 10 cents cheaper. A few months ago I told the manager at Kwik Star I was going to write a letter to the editor, locally, questioning Decorah's costly fuels and within two hours the price dropped 8 to 10 cents. I think we're being "had"."
Mr. Answer Person says, "On Sunday I spent 8 cents a gallon less when I gassed up in Waukon.
Mr. A.P. has tackled this question before--and never gotten an answer. Readers, do you have any ideas?
