A two-vehicle accident on Montgomery Street around 8:00 Tuesday morning caused $4,000 in damages, according to Decorah Police.
Officers were called to Ridgewood Drive and Montgomery Street at 7:52 Tuesday morning. Police say 85-year-old Wilbur Wilkins of Decorah was driving south on Montgomery Street with his right turn signal on.
That led 16-year-old Micala Folkedahl to believe Wilkins was turning onto Ridgewood Drive, so she pulled out to make a left turn. Wilkins' truck crashed into Folkedahl's car. Neither driver was injured and no tickets were issued.
