Decorah Boy Scout will put GIS signs along the Freeport Trail as part of his Eagle project

Riding a bike or walking along the newly-paved Freeport Trail will get a little safer in the future, thanks to the work of a Decorah area Boy Scout.

Everett Wagge will be installing 9-1-1 GIS signs along the trail--so that trail users can reference the signs if they have to call police dispatchers.

Wegge says the project "will insure safety on the Freeport Trail."  He says the signs have been ordered and he plans to install all of them before winter arrives.
