Luther College receives $20,000 grant

Luther College has received a $20,000 grant from the Council of Independent Colleges-Network for Vocation in Undergraduate Education. 

The grant will support a one-year series of student-faculty-staff retreats connecting College Ministries with the Career Center and faculty advisors as they work with sophomores, with a focus on those who have not yet declared an academic major.

The first small group retreat was held in August and led by Career Center Director Brenda Ranum, campus pastor Mike Blair and strengths program coordinator Ann Landstrom, English professor Nancy Barry participating as a special speaker.
