Three uncontested candidates for the Decorah School Board win election

There were 35 write-in ballots cast in Tuesday's Decorah School Board election, but that wasn't enough to affect the outcome of the election.

Incumbents John Hjelle and Brian Petersburg gathered 92 votes each and won re-election.  Newcomer Krista Vanden Brink, who agreed to run for the seat formerly held by Melanie Tietz, drew 85 votes and a place on the school board.
