Calmar man dies who was recipient of community fund drive

47-year-old Scott Adam of Calmar died Thursday at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.

On Saturday, August 22nd, Scott fell and hit his head, sustaining a serious head injury.  He had been a patient in the Intensive Care Unit at St. Mary's since the accident, in a coma and on a ventilator. 

Adam and his family had been the subject of a community-wide fundraising drive in Calmar, led by his friends.

A funeral will be held next Wednesday at Calmar Lutheran Church.  For complete details, click here
