The Calmar Lutheran Church has begun raising donations on behalf of a Calmar couple, Scott and Bridget Adam.

On Saturday, August 22nd, Scott fell and hit his head, sustaining a serious head injury.  He has been in the Intensive Care Unit at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester ever since.  He is currently in a coma and on a ventilator, since he hasn't been able to breathe on his own.  Bridget just started a new teaching job this summer but since the injury she hasn't left Scott's side and hasn't been able to start the school year

Volunteers from Calmar Lutheran Church have started an on-line fund drive at https://www.youcaring.com/scott-bridget-adam-421380 . The funds raised will be used to help with living costs and medical expenses.  You can also leave comments for the family on the website.  Donations can also be made directly to State Bank in Calmar to the "Scott Adam Benefit Account."
