"Many of our patients who experience accidents and injuries end up with soiled or damaged clothing," says Winneshiek Medical Center Emergency Department nurse supervisor John Kelly.

That's why donations of boxes of clothing from the Depot Outlet have become an important part of the care WMC provides to ER patients.  The patients sometimes are in need of clean clother to wear because the clothing they had been wearing has gotten soiled or damaged following accidents or injury.

The Depot Outlet provides clothing of all sorts--including shirts, pants and coats--whenever the hospital ER calls for assistance.

"If not for the donations from the Depot, these patients might otherwise leave the hospital wearing only a flimsy gown and paper slippers," says Kelly.
