Decorah Police say they responded to two traffic accidents recently.
On Saturday around 3:00 p.m. police were called to the driveway of 901 Decorah Avenue. 53-year-old Mary Murray of Fort Atkinson backed out of the driveway, but didn't see an SUV also parked in the driveway. The SUV, owned by Larry and Sharon Schilling of Decorah, suffered $3,500 in damages, while Murray's car had $2,500 in damages.
Thursday afternoon on College Drive, 17-year-old Jonathon Drow of Decorah failed to stop at the Heivly Drive intersection and struck a car driven by 51-year-old John Dambeck of Decorah, causing a total of $4,500 in damages. Drow was ticketed for Failure to Stop in an Assured Distance.
