Decorah Police responded to a car-pedestrian accident on Thursday morning.
Police say 52-year-old Betsy Busch had just finished placing an informational sign on the northeast corner of the College Drive/Locust Road intersection shortly after 9:30 Thursday morning. She went to cross the street to return to her vehicle and was struck by a car driven by 19-year-old Tyler Barth of Decorah.
Busch refused medical attention at the scene and instead drove herself to the hospital. Barth was not ticketed.
