


Decorah Police say they responded to two traffic accidents last Monday, June 29th.
At 8:40 a.m. on Highway 9, 36-year-old Mark Headington of Decorah struck a deer with his truck, causing $7,500 in damages.
At 11:30 a.m., cars driven by 83-year-old Ruby Hermeier and 17-year-old Kristian Gunderson, both of Decorah, collided at the intersection of Division Street and Dudley Street, causing a total of $5,400 in damages.
No one was injured in either accident and no tickets were issued.
