Postville man picked up on an outstanding arrest warrant

Postville Police have arrested 24-year-old Muhumed Muhumed of Postville on a Winneshiek County warrant.

Muhumed originally had deen charged with Operating While Under the Influence and with Possession of Contraband in a Correctional Institution.  Police say Muhumed failed to appear in Winneshiek County District Court on those charges.  Postville Police picked up Muhumed around 7:20 Saturday evening.  Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies then took him to the Winneshiek County Jail.
