Blood drive in honor of former Winneshiek Medical Center CAO Dan Werner was a success

A blood drive held recently at Winneshiek Medical Center in honor of the late Dan Werner, a former Chief Administrative Officer at the hospital, is being called a success.

Hospital officials say 31 blood donors gave enough blood to handle the needs of 93 patients.

The blood drive was co-sponsored by the Decorah Rotary Club.
