


Through the support of the Henry Luce Foundation, ASIANetwork has awarded Luther College a $40,000 grant to support the hiring of Yang Wang, a postdoctoral teaching fellow in Asian art history. This one-year fellowship will be co-hosted by Luther's Visual and Performing Arts department and the Asian Studies program.
Wang will teach a half-time course load, attend departmental and college faculty meetings, keep office hours, mentor students, and continue to pursue research and/or other scholarly projects. She will offer three courses in Asian arts including: Introduction to arts of Asia in the fall and an upper division course and a seminar in contemporary global art in spring 2016.
