Accident causes $6,500 in damages

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department was called to a two-vehicle accident on Town Line Road Tuesday afternoon.

35-year-old Travis Frana of Fort Atkinson was driving a dump truck down the road when it was struck from behind by a car driven by 61-year-old Janice Halverson of Decorah.  Halverson stated she could not see the dump truck through the dust. 

There was approximately $500 in damages to the dump truck and approximately $6,000 in damages to the front end of Halverson's vehicle.  Neither driver was injured.  No tickets were issued.
