Luther College Aurora and Norsemen to perform Friday

Luther College's Aurora and Norsemen will present a vocal concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Center for Faith and Life on the Luther campus.  The concert is open to the public with no charge for admission. Those unable to attend the concert may view the concert live online at: stream.luther.edu.

Together, Aurora and Norsemen will perform Mack Wilberg's "My Shepherd Will Supply My Need" and Andrew Sullivan's "The Gondoliers."

Aurora will sing "Psalm 100" by Rene Clauson, "Psalm 23" by Z. Randall Stroope, "Blessing" by Katie Moran Bart, "Jerusalem" arranged by Micahel McGlynn and "La Maumariee," a new arrangement of the French folk song by Joni Jensen. The choir will also sing a new composition by Connor Koppin, "The Waters Wrecked the Sky" along with "O Salutaris Hostia" by Erik Esenvalds, featuring soloists Clara Knutson, Luther first-year, and Anna Streeper, Luther first-year.

Norsemen will perform "Cantate Domino" by Hans Leo Hassler and the folk song "Barb'ra Allen" by Randall Gill. The Norsemen will also be performing a world-premiere of Connor Koppin's "She Walks in Beauty."
