


Luther College senior Stephanie Diebel has won the college's inaugural Orchestral Performance Prize.
Diebel, a french horn player from Western Springs, Illinois, will receive a $5,000 scholarship funded by Luther graduates Richard and Joann (Harr) Hemp.
The winning musician is selected by audition and recognized for exceptional performance, talent, musicianship and leadership.
Diebel will perform a French horn recital at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Noble Recital Hall of the Luther College Jenson-Noble Music Hall.
