Iowa Supreme Court Chief Justice visits Decorah High School

Iowa Supreme Court Justice Mark Cady on Thursday told students at Decorah High School that one person can promote change in the world.  Cady, appearing before juniors and seniors at the school, said the history of change is full of examples of people who have said, "I think the world around me should be different."

He told the audience of students that the job of the Iowa Supreme Court involves balancing conflicting rights and determining how they should be applied "in real life situations in your community and others."

Cady says he has worked hard as Chief Justice to make the court process better by making sure it is fair and just.
