Dr. William Remington named "Provider of the Year"--for a second straight year

Dr. William Remington has been named "Provider of the Year" by Winneshiek Medical Center for the second time in two years.

Remington was presented the award last weekend at a hospital staff event.  He was selected based on the nominations and comments of fellow hospital employees and of hospital and clinic patients.

Remington has been a Mayo Clinic Health System Ear, Nose, and Throat surgeon at WMC since 2002.  He has held multiple leadership roles throughout the organization during his years in Decorah.

Remington received his medical degree from Loyola University in Chicago.  He completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in ear, nose and throat, head and neck surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
