


A collission between a City of Decorah snow plow and a car driven by a Decorah teenager on Wednesday morning caused nearly $4,000 in damages.
Decorah Police say 22-year-old Zachary Kerndt of Ridgeway was operating a plow on Fifth Avenue at Spring Street shortly after 9:00 a.m. when his plow when struck by a car driven by 17-year-old Daiton Holstad of Decorah.
Neither driver was injured. The accident was blamed on snowy road conditions, so no traffic tickets were issued.
