Ask Mr. Answer Person: Do Decorah restaurant give discounts to veterans on Veterans Day?

Lee e-mails: "On Veterans Day there are several national chain restaurants that offer a free meal for veterans to show appreciation. This is a great thing for them to do, but most are in larger cities.  My question to you Is there any local restaurants that offer a free meal to veterans on Veterans Day?"

Mr. Answer Person says: "We've learned of just a few local restaurants offering specials to veterans.  Pizza Ranch in Decorah is offering discounts to veterans this week.  I can also tell you that T-Bock's is offering free lunches to veterans from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Thursday.

The best advice I can give is to call first to any restaurant so you can get the details of their offers.
