Gas prices continue to fall in Decorah

Gasoline is now selling for under $3.00 a gallon in Decorah.

Kwik Star and other stations are charging $2.88 a gallon for ethanol blended gas.  The latest price follows a four-month fall in gasoline prices, which were over $3.50 a gallon early in the summer.

The website www.gasbuddy.com says gasoline prices across Iowa have fallen six cents a gallon since last week and almost 14 cents since one month ago. 

Winneshiek County is still not the cheapest gasoline in Iowa, according to www.gasbuddy.com.  The website says a gallon of gas in the Quad Cities now sells for $2.83 a gallon.
