The (political) party is over, so it's time to take down the yard signs.
Recycling of campaign signs will be offered again this year by the Winneshiek County Recycling Department. A container for the signs will be placed in the drop-off facility at the Winneshiek County Recycling Center located at 2510 172nd Avenue in the Freeport Industrial Park at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
The campaign signs will eventually end up at a plastic manufacturer and become park benches and picnic tables.
