Pie sale to raise money for Lydia Dawley

Alpha Sigma Sorority has begun taking orders for pies, with the money raised going to help Decorah's Lydia Dawley to buy a handicap van to drive to college next fall.

Pies can be ordered through November 14th by calling or texting Dawn at (563) 380-0239 or Heidi at (563) 380-9239.  Pecan pies are being sold for $10 each and pumpkin pies for $8 each.  Cash donations are also being accepted.  Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will provide matching funds.

Friends of Lydia are trying to raise $90,000 to pay for a van plus the adaptations that must be made so Lydia can drive it to college at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
