Two-vehicle accident on Montgomery Street does $16,000 in damages

A Decorah woman has been ticketed following a two-vehicle accident on Montgomery Street at the hospital entrance around 2:00 Monday afternoon.

Decorah Police say 85-year-old Sylvia O'Hara turned into the path of a southbound car driven by 39-year-old Rebecca Uhlenhake of Ossian.  As a result, their vehicles collided head-on.

Neither driver was injured, but each vehicle had $8,000 in damages.  O'Hara was ticketed for Failure to Yield the Right-of-Way.
