Winneshiek Medical Center officials are beginning to investigate the purchase of a new CT scanner for the hospital.
The machines take two-dimensional images and combine them in such a way that a near 3D perspective is created. CT has become an important tool in medical imaging.

WMC officials have just begun their study and have not made a recommendation yet.
