Consultant presents list of possible improvements to the Decorah Swimming Pool

JEO Consulting Group from Des Moines has presented a rough draft of possible repairs and improvements to the Decorah Swimming Pool.

After conducting a visit to the pool earlier this year, the consultants have now given City of Decorah officials a checklist of possible improvements at the pool.  At the top of the list is the installation of a new water slide at the pool at a tentative cost of $175,000.  A variety of other improvements are also possible.

Park-Rec Board members will now go to work prioritizing which improvements should be done and in what order.  The representatives of JEO Consulting Group will attend a future Park-Rec Board meeting in an attempt to bring together a final plan for the improvements.
