NICC officials are looking ahead to 2015 and to 2020.
The college has determined four major strategic priorities for NICC in the next fiscal year--increasing student success as measured by student retention, completion and transfer rates; enrolling 2015 in-district high school seniors in NICC credit programs; placing graduates who have completed certificate, diploma and degree program in jobs; and expanding educational efforts to the college community on the financial impact of recruiting and retaining students.
This week the NICC Board also reviewed and discussed a FY2016-2020 strategic plan that is currently being developed. Highlights of the long-term plan include positioning NICC for enrollment growth, identifying areas of opportunity to expand programs and career pathways, implementing a master facility plan and integrating cutting-edge technology into the College's quality educational programs and services for students through 2020.
