Decorah School District reminding parents: First day of school will be a full day

The Decorah Community School District will go to a system of having teacher in-service training every Wednesday this upcoming school year.

However, there will be one important exception--the first day of school.  School district officials are reminding the public that on Wednesday, August 20th--the first day of classes for the new school year--classes will begin at 8:00 a.m.  One hour late starts will not begin until Wednesday, August 27th.
