


NICC science instructor Paul Kimball has received the 2014 Central Regional Faculty Member Award from the Association of Community College Trustees. Kimball has taught science at the NICC Peosta campus since 1990.
Kimball is one of five Regional Faculty Member Award honorees to be recognized nationally this year. It's the latest award in a series of awards won by Kimball. In 2013 The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching named Kimball the Iowa Professor of the Year. In 1998 he won a Phi Beta Kappa International honor and also was given NICC's Outstanding Educator Award. In 1995 he won the "Staff and Organizational Development Excellence in Teaching Award." In 1994 he was honored by the Sigma Xi Scientific Research Society.
