


Training to become a Master Gardener will take place at the Winneshiek County Extension office beginning in September. Registration for the training sessions is now underway.
Master Gardeners are trained volunteers who share a love of gardening, an enthusiasm for learning and a commitment to helping others. Training consists of research-based information about lawn care, landscape trees and shrubs, herbaceous ornamentals, insects, plant diseases, soils, plant nutrition, vegetables, fruits, houseplants and more.
